Not bad all from one wedding hey! But it was one of those weddings were amazing things kept happening and we are able to capture them all – and it’s been great receiving so many awards as a result. Forget about the weather on your wedding day!
If there’s one thing you cannot control on your wedding day, it’s the weather! The good old British weather can throw up the brightest, warmest day or it can give you rain and fog instead. The latter is what Rebecca and Liam got! But did they let the weather interfere with their day at all? The answer is a simple: no way! Rebecca, Liam and all their wedding guests didn’t seem to notice the rain at all. You wouldn’t know it was raining in the images really as everyone is smiling and laughing – the odd umbrella gives the game away of course! So if your wedding day does give you rain, do what Rebecca and Liam did: give no figs and get on with having the very best day ever.
Yorkshire Wolds Wedding Photographer
We are based in the Yorkshire wolds so it’s always lovely to photograph a wedding close to home. The Yorkshire Wolds refers to the rolling hills and valleys of East Yorkshire, that stretches from the Humber Bridge right up towards North Yorkshire. It makes for a beautiful backdrop for photography and is also just such a beautiful place to spend time exploring. So if you’re yet to visit the Yorkshire Wolds, we recommend you that you do! Such a fun wedding day
Rebecca and Liam planned such a relaxed and fun wedding day – the garden games were moved indoors due to the weather, but that didn’t stop them being enjoyed! Before we reached Little Wold Vineyard though, we captured the bridal party and groomsmen as they got ready. Then, it was onto Cottingham church – and what a beautiful wedding ceremony. Cottingham church is a lovely building with great light – we loved photographing there! After that we all travelled over the wolds to Little Wold Vineyard. And from then on, right through until the dancing, as you can see from the images above – it really was such a beautiful wedding!
