We met Zara, Alex and their little girl Bobby in Cleethorpes recently for a chat about their upcoming wedding and to take some pre wedding photographs. With an intimate ceremony planned at the Guildhall in Hull, East Yorkshire, followed by some photos around the town and at the nearby Humber Bridge Country Park we really cannot wait!
We know Zara well as a fellow wedding professional – she is an amazingly talented florist. In fact, Zara – of Floral and Lace – is going to be doing the flowers at our own wedding this summer. So it’s so lovely to be photographing Zara’s own wedding day! Also, if you’re getting married in East Yorkshire and are yet to find a florist, we cannot recommend Floral and Lace enough – Zara really is so good at what she does.
Though we know Zara – and Bobby!- well, this was our first opportunity to meet Alex. It was so nice to finally meet the whole family. Zara and Alex make such a lovely couple and it’s safe to say they are both naturals in front of the camera – Bobby too! Like all our photography, we photographed this shoot completely naturally. No posing, no staging – we just went for a walk on the beach and Zara and Alex did the rest!
We are so pleased Zara and Alex loved their images – they sent the following message after receiving their images: “We are speechless… Absolutely speechless… Hollie they are just incredible!!! We cannot thank you enough!!
I literally don’t know what to say! Thank you simply doesn’t cut it – but thank you so so much!!”
