Yorkshire Wedding Photographer: a stunning Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey Wedding

April 11, 2020

Emily and Tim’s wedding was beautiful and such a pleasure to photograph. It was lovely to get to know Emily and Tim a little over the course of being their wedding photographers. They are such a lovely couple and they planned the perfect wedding day. Below you will find a selection of some of our favourite images from this amazing Yorkshire wedding.

A stunning Yorkshire wedding.

We are based in Yorkshire so it is always lovely to photograph a wedding close to home. This is particularly true when it is such a wonderful wedding! Tim and Emily’s day was perfect from start to finish.

A beautiful dress and an amazing bridal crown!

Timothy and Emily picked out some lovely suppliers and it was great to work with each one. Emily’s Stella York dress was from Ava Rose Hamilton. Emily looked simply stunning and Tim cut an equally dapper figure in his Marc Darcy Suit. The suits were from the fantastic Bridgewater Menswear. Flowers were provided by The Plantation. Each floral arrangement was exquisitely made and put together. Jodie Bloomer provided the make up and Lisa Donnelley was the expert hairdresser. Jodie always seemed to be on hand to help Emily and her bridesmaids throughout the morning. Jodie is one of those dedicated wedding professionals who will always go that extra mile to support her bride!

Jordan Lee provided the videography and was a pleasure to work alongside all day long. All The Kings Cakes made the stunning wedding cake. All the suppliers came together to make the day what it was and that was as we already said – absolutely perfect!

So many emotions throughout the day.

As our images show there were so many emotional moments for us to capture all day long. Emily and both her parents were so emotional even before the ceremony! The moment Emily’s dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time had everyone crying happy tears. Then it was onto the ceremony!

We spoke to Tim as he waited at the end of the aisle for Emily and it was clear he was both excited and already a little overcome with emotion. Then a few minutes later Emily entered the room and and both Emily’s mum and grandma cried together. There really wasn’t a dry eye in the house. This all set the scene for a day full of heartfelt emotions.

Every speech was a particular highlight. We know Tim was feeling the pressure a little before his speech but when it came to speaking about Emily any nerves disappeared. Tim spoke confidently and described how much he loved Emily. It was a beautiful speech and also contained an amusing anecdote about when he proposed! It involved a very long walk around Edinburgh at midnight and a few expletives (not repeated by Tim of course!) Tim’s speech was a lovely mix of romance and humour and it was clear how much it meant to Emily. We were also treated to a lovely father daughter dance. Again there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

Tithe Barn – the perfect setting for a wedding.

Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey is a Cripps and Co wedding venue. Cripps and Co are renowned for their luxury barn wedding venues across the country. We have photographed at Cripps Barn, Stone Barn, Hazel Gap Barn and this was our second visit to the Tithe Barn. We would gladly photograph weddings at the Tithe Barn every week.

In fact we said to Emily and Tim on their wedding day we would be happy to photograph their wedding all over again! Packed full of emotional, funny moments and above all with a couple who smiled and laughed with each other all day long. Every guest had the best time of their life and that is testament to the amazing wedding planned by Tim and Emily. Add to the mix the stunning Yorkshire wedding venue The Tithe Barn and you have something truly special! We are so pleased Emily and Tim picked us to photograph their wedding day and we hope you have enjoyed reading all about it.
