Last week, we were delighted to find out we have made it into several of the This Is Reportage end of year ‘Best Wedding Photographer’ lists. First of all, we are so happy to say we have both been named in the Top 10 Reportage Wedding Photographers In The UK. We were also both named in the Top 30 worldwide (Patrick at 14 and Hollie at 30). We were so happy to receive these accolades.
The best in documentary wedding photography
This Is Reportage rewards the very best in documentary wedding photography out there and is run the incredible wedding photographer Alan Law. Alan promotes such a clear and consistent ethos through This Is Reportage: no posing, no staging. That’s the only prerequisite of a This Is Reportage award and that’s what we love about it, as that’s the kind of photography we love to create the most.
So to finish together, each placed in the top 10 reportage wedding photographers in the UK, it is is an accomplishment we are really proud of. Then for to be ranked in the Top 20 and Top 30 reportage wedding photographers in the world – well, that is simply the icing on the (16 tiered wedding) cake!
Our busiest ever wedding season
We’re writing this during late 2021 as we’re editing so many weddings from the busiest wedding season ever, with a new (but ever growing!) baby. So with all this in mind, we’ve not found the time to celebrate yet, but we do want to have a toast as soon as we can! In the meantime, a huge thanks to all the This Is Reportage judges – and of course, thanks to Alan too for running the fantastic community that is This Is Reportage.
