The Highfield House, a stunning Yorkshire Wedding Venue, reopened recently. We were lucky enough to photograph the first wedding there within its stunning grounds. Georgie and James pitched a marvellous marquee on the beautiful Highfield House lawns and proceeded to have the very best garden party ever. Below you will a selection of our favourite images from this amazing day.
James is an old school friend of ours and it was an incredible honour to be asked photograph his and Georgie’s beautiful church wedding and Highfield House reception. The day was perfectly relaxed from start to finish with every guest enjoying every moment. It was one of those weddings that was just full of smiles. The weather was not ideal. In fact we have rarely seen rain like it on a wedding day! Nevertheless the rain did hold off until the beginning of the wedding breakfast. After that point though the heavens opened!
Picking our favourite images from this wedding was so difficult as there were so many stunning moments we were able to capture.
Our style: we have a natural and relaxed style meaning we will let you get on with enjoying your day without worrying about posing for the camera every every two minutes. Then when you look back at your images you will see your day as it really happened. We will capture all the little details and the big moments and we will capture you and your guests all having such an amazing day.
The package: Georgie and James chose a two photographer package which is probably our most popular. Two photographers means we can be in two places at the same time and also, it means we can supply more images. There are so many benefits to having two photographers capture your wedding day and for us the main one is that we are able to capture so many more memories for you.
Other suppliers: we have come to really love the Highfield House and it’s owners are so lovely too. Since this wedding we have photographed many times at the Highfield House and have more weddings booked in the years to come. It was also lovely to work with Rafters the florists. A driffield institution, Rafters are as talented as they are lovely and they created such amazing floral designs for Georgie and James.
Our location: we are based in Cottingham, East Yorkshire and Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire so you could definitely say we are both a Yorkshire wedding photographer and a Hertfordshire wedding photographer. From our bases we cover weddings all over the UK and abroad.
