As a Cripps Stone Barn wedding photographer I loved photographing Claire and Ed’s big day. When looking at the images below I am immediately transported back to a perfect wedding. A sun drenched wedding that allowed everyone to spend all day outside. The kind of weather you really plan and hope for on your big day! Below you will find some of my favourite images from this wonderful Cripps Stone Barn wedding.
A day full of fun
Claire and Ed’s day was full of such fun. Friends and family came together to create such a positive atmosphere. From surprise singing waiters, lawn games and space hopper related fun. This was a day full of people who know what to do at a wedding – enjoy themselves!
Emotional and epic speeches
Three best men each delivering a speech that would have been a sterling effort on its own, the groom’s wasn’t too shabby either. I still remember benign struck by quite how well all the friends knew each other but clearly loved each other. I remember commenting to Ed that there was a lot of love in the room. The speeches were a fitting and emotional tribute to A well loved couple who really loved all their friends and family dearly.
Such a lovely couple
Ed and Claire were so, so relaxed and fun to be with. They had told me they chose M andG Wedding Photography for our ethos of letting them get on with enjoying their day. When you shoot with a couple who trust your ehtos and jsut focus on the day as an experience, rather than a series of staged moments or performing for the camera, it jsut works. You know as a photographer you are in for a good day. We always try to place our couple’s experience of the day as the most important aspect of our work. We want them to remmeber the day, not posing for a series of images. Calire and Ed enabled this to happen by being surpemly lovley and chilled all day.
Dancing the night away
As a photographer it is always a little emotional in a funny way. Saying goodbye to our couples whom we have just spent probably one the most memorable day’s of their lives. And we normally say this goodbye on a crowded dance floor as friends and family dance the night away. It was no exception with Claire and Ed. Goodbyes said it was then time to negotiate the sometimes treacherous exit off the dance floor. All the while whilst armed with thousands of pounds of Nikon’s finest cameras, continuing to snap more memories as we left!
Stone Barn Wedding Photographer
A lot of love, a lot of laughs and a beautiful setting inside and out at Cripps Stone Barn. These are the days that make my job as photographer so enjoyable. We can just stand back and let the action unfurl and capture everyone having a great time together. All the Cripps properties we have shot at have much in common but all feel very different and personal. The thign they all have in common is the awesome food and the beautifully managed, but not overly mnaicured, outside space. The inside of the Stone Barn has reatianed its character and makes a beaufitful and romantic backdrop.
Natural, unposed and award winning wedding photography
We have a simple ethos. We don’t want intrude on your day. Our images are natural and will capture real memories. So all you have to do is have one of the best day’s of your life. We don’t want to boss you or your guests around, we don’t want to pose you or create or fake anything. By allowing you to focus on family, friend and fun you can concentrate on everything a wedding should be. By recording the memories that are being made in front of us we will provide you with images you will treasure a whole lifetime.
