It was a wintery, blustery day in February when we arrived at the beautiful Hornington Manor in North Yorkshire for Rebecca and Simon’s wedding day. What’s more it was a leap day and it was the first ever leap year wedding we have photographed! Below you will find a selection of some of our favourite images of this wonderful Yorkshire wedding.

What an amazing day we had photographing Rebecca and Simon’s Hornington Manor wedding. We cannot over estimate just how windy the day was! The day fell in the midst of a series of seemingly never-ending British storms, whose names we neglect to remember (though we think it was storm Jeff, storm Terry and storm Dave – but we could be wrong!) So for some brides and grooms that would have meant a day spent very much inside the warm confines of their beautiful barn wedding venue. However that was not the case for Rebecca and Simon and they were not be deterred! After a lovely wedding ceremony they went for a walk in the gardens and we accompanied them of course for perhaps the windiest photos we have ever taken! It was well worth it though as Hornington Manor’s grounds are always so lovely and perfect for photographs.
This was just one highlight of such a wonderful day. Rebecca and Simon are a really lovely couple and we loved getting to know them before and during their wedding day. Their wedding celebrations were as relaxed as they were beautiful. We want to wish Rebecca and Simon all the very best for the future and a very long and happy marriage together.
