We had an absolutely fantastic day photographing Alicja and Guy’s beautiful wedding at Falcon Manor. They are such a lovely couple, and it was a real privilege to be chosen to document their special day. From the quiet, intimate moments to the joyful celebrations with friends and family, every part of the day was filled with love and laughter. A Unique Dual Ceremony
Alicja and Guy had the most wonderful day, featuring a Polish wedding and an English wedding ceremony in one. After a relaxed morning getting ready at home, Alicja made her way to the church, where Guy and all their excited guests were waiting. With Alicja’s Polish family in attendance, we were treated to a dual ceremony delivered by both a Polish priest and an English priest. Two languages, one message of love and unity. The priests shared many light-hearted jokes throughout the service, and the guests loved every moment, despite the language barrier.
Rainy Days Bring Luck
After the ceremony, we headed to Falcon Manor, a venue we know well and love. Its intimate spaces and warm atmosphere made it the perfect location on a rainy, wintry day. Alicja and Guy were unfazed by the weather, and we followed them outside to capture some beautiful images in the grounds of Falcon Manor. After a few warming minutes inside, everyone headed back out for confetti — one of our favourite parts of any wedding. Guests threw confetti with gusto, creating vibrant, joyful moments, before returning indoors to warm up again.
Emotional Speeches and Delicious Food
The wedding speeches were incredibly moving. Guy’s words brought many happy tears, and Alicja’s young translator for her father’s speech nearly stole the show with his charm. Alongside the heartfelt speeches, guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast, including an array of traditional Polish dishes. The staff at Falcon Manor were wonderful to work with, making the day run smoothly while everyone savoured the food.
Dancing and Evening Fun
As evening fell, guests joined Alicja and Guy for a sparkler send-off outside. Despite the cold, everyone had a great time celebrating under the night sky. Back inside, the evening continued with cake cutting and lively dancing. The first dance was romantic and unforgettable, and the dance floor remained full long after we left. It was a joy to capture the energy and connection of the day from start to finish.
