A Polish wedding and an English wedding ceremony in one!
After a relaxed morning getting ready at home Alicja made her way to the church. Guy and all the excited guests were waiting. Alicja’s Polish family were in attendance so we were treated to a dual wedding ceremony. A Polish priest and an English priest delivered a unique service. Two languages but one message of love and unity. Both priests enjoyed the experience as did all the guests. Many jokes between the two clergymen were shared despite any language barrier!
Rain clouds bring good luck to a wedding!
After the service we made our way over to Falcon Manor. Falcon Manor is a venue we know well and it’s a venue we love. Intimate and with a warm atmosphere it was the perfect location on this rainy and wintry day. The rain did not deter Aicja from wanting to go outside though! So we followed her and guy out into the rain. It was lovely to be able to take some images outside in the gorgeous Falcon Manor grounds. Following a few warming minutes inside it was back outside. This time everyone followed for confetti! Always a favourite moment of ours at any wedding the guests threw the confetti with gusto. Then it was back inside to get warm again.
Emotional speeches and amazing food.
Alicja and Guy’s wedding speeches were so emotional and beautiful. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house and Guy’s speech brought with it so many happy tears. Just as emotional was the young boy who helped translate Alicja’s father’s speech. It could be said he nearly stole the show! Along with amazing speeches all the guests enjoyed some delicious food. The wedding breakfast at Falcon Manor is always so tasty and their staff are always so helpful to work with. As well as the wedding breakfast there was also an array of traditional Polish food on offer to enjoy.
Dancing and fun all night long.
Once the speeches and food were finished it was onto sparklers outside. It was a cold evening but everyone enjoyed lighting the sparklers and joined Alicja and Guy for a lovely moment outside. Then the evening finished with cutting the cake followed by dancing. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor and the first dance was really romantic. We left a few songs later as we always do. Alicja, guy and all their guests were still enjoying dancing the night away! It was such a lovely wedding day to photograph from the beginning until the end.
