We may have just won the Best Wedding Photographer in Yorkshire and the North East, however we photograph weddings all over the world! To win a prestigious award as the best wedding photographer for an area that covers not just Yorkshire but also Lincolnshire and Northumberland too was such an honour. However the area we actually cover is far greater! So to then follow that Best Wedding Photographer award for our local area with another award was amazing. This past week we were named as one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers 2020 by Photographers Keeping It Real which is an international wedding photography competition. So to have an international award too is really amazing!
We really do photograph weddings all over the world and below you will find some images from a Destination Wedding we captured last year in Tivat which is a beautiful town in Montenegro.
As we write this blog, it’s a cold wintry night outside in Yorkshire – we would gladly go back to the golden skies of Montenegro right now! Ellie and Mark planned a stunning Destination Wedding and we had the pleasure of capturing it. The whole day was emotional, beautiful, funny, heartfelt, touching and also it was very hot! It was the perfect summer wedding by the beautiful Adriatic sea. After a surprise boat trip for all the guests, it was onto a beautiful ceremony. Then afterwards as the photographs above show, it was onto a trip on a yacht for just Ellie and Mark with us tagging along to photograph it all too! The yacht ride as the sun set was just the perfect way to end a perfect day.
We really love destination weddings. One of our favourite perks of the job as a wedding photographer is being able to visit new places and meet new people, so there’s not much better than travelling to new and beautiful places like Tivat in Montenegro! We loved everything about Tivat: the people, the food, the weather, the laid back attitude to life. It’s fair to say we did not want to leave at all at the end of the wedding!
