We were lucky enough to photograph this amazing Derbyshire wedding Thornbridge Hall. It was our first visit to Thornbridge Hall and Natalie and Michael really had planned the very best wedding day. We were so lucky to be picked to be the ones to capture it.
We met Natalie and Michael at their pre wedding shoot in York and hit off right away. They had studied Fine Art just like us, so we immediately had a lot in common. They did say they felt a little nervous in front of the camera, but we reassured them not to worry about that at all. With our style of wedding photography there is no posing, no staging – no awkwardly grinning at the camera. We just let our couples have the very best day ever and that is exactly what what Natalie and Michael did!
What a day it was. The weather was perfect for an autumn day – cold of course, but crisp and the light was golden, only accentuated in tones by the amazing gardens that Thornbridge Hall offers. The gardens really are stunning – so well established in growth, they are the most perfect backdrop for guests on a wedding day as they enjoy themselves. To be honest though, as it was so cold and a little damp, the only people brave enough to go outside were Natalie and Michael themselves – and us of course! So when Natalie and Michael did go for a walk, we accompanied them, hanging back a little as we always do so as not to get in the way. This also allows us to capture real romantic moments without posing them. We have selected our favourite images from the day – some funny, some romantic, some emotional. This wedding really did have everything and more.
Natalie and Michael loved all their images and sent us the following message – thanks so, so much for the amazing feedback, it means the world to us to know you love the images we provided! “We are absolutely over the moon with all our photographs and you have captured some truly amazing moments.
