We have been working hard on compiling a ‘Best Ever’ post and though it was so difficult to choose, we’re happy to say, it’s now ready! So below, you’ll find our favourite 150 [doesn’t matter if it’s 148 or 152 … no one’s counting] images. These have been taken at weddings all over the UK and beyond, over the last 6 years. Writing the blog has made us realise just how many amazing locations we have visited and how many incredible weddings we have photographed over the years. We hope you enjoy our selection!
Six years of M and G Wedding Photography
A wedding photographer is a pretty amazing job to have and looking through all these images, all these different moments – it just reminds us how lucky we are. 2020 marked our 6th full wedding season since starting M and G Wedding Photography. First of all, a huge thank you to all the couples who have booked us to photograph their wedding day. Every award, every exciting journey to a new venue, every memory we have documented since beginning our business is down to our couples And well, of course we think we have the best couples in the world.
How we picked our favourite photographs
It was incredibly hard to pick the images that make up our ‘Best Ever’ selection. above. We’ve photographed so many weddings, we couldn’t include an image from every single one, even though we would like to! So, we picked out images that really show the scope and range of our work, as a collection – what M & G is all about: capturing expressions and emotion as they occur naturally; recording the funny things that happen; the interactions between people (and sometimes pets!); the venue and the ambience of the day. We capture images in our own artistic style – and then edit every single one beautifully to create that lasting, poignant record of your day. We hope you have enjoyed our look back at all these occasions, and for ourselves we can’t wait to work with new couples in 2021 and beyond.

We have accomplished a lot since we started out. We’ve photographed weddings not just all over the UK, but internationally too. Hundreds of weddings, each one different from the last, creating so many memories for our couples. We are also very grateful for all the awards we have won. From winning the Wedding Photographer of The Year award for our region at the Wedding Industry Awards, right up to being named in the Top 50 Wedding Photographers In The World by This Is Reportage just a month ago. We’ve also won Fearless, Masters of Wedding Photography, Wedding Photojournalist and Photographers Keeping It Real awards.
