We absolutely love the beautiful Yorkshire wedding venue Middleton Lodge. We’ve worked there many times and it’s without question one of the very best wedding venues around. Not only have we worked there many times, but we’ve won many awards for our images taken there. These include two This Is Reportage story awards. Story awards are notoriously difficult to win so to have won two from the same venue is real achievement. What’s more, Hollie is the double This Is Reportage Wedding Photographer Of The Year. Hollie is the only person to have won this prestigious accolade twice.

Taken at a beautiful summer Middleton Lodge wedding. And what a wedding! So many different emotions to capture in the most beautiful setting. As we stay late into the party we’re able to capture lots of fun moments on the dance floor too as champagne really starts to flow.

These images were taken a beautiful autumnal wedding at Middleton Lodge. Again, the champagne was flowing in the evening! We love to capture funny and unexpected moments like the ones on the dance floor – the bride, Kim, was as surprised as us when the champagne fizzed over (we made sure we were in the right place to capture the moment though). But it’s not just ‘hero-shot’ moments like that one – a wedding is about the fun, but also the more poignant moments that take place all throughout the celebration. We love to document the big moments. However we love to document the details too, as this story shows. Those details that might go unseen on a wedding day – as we know our couples really treasure them.
